As Altaire prepared Danik and Amaya for their big birthday celebration, Kye was sitting lazily in the throne room, citizens of Darkon gathering to see the well-praised heirs of the Shadow Kingdom. He wondered what exactly was taking so long considering all Altaire was supposed to do was dress them up. He sighed at the thought of her indecisiveness, maybe this will take forever. He grumbled a little, then shook it off and chose to wait a little longer before he'd go check on them to hurry their mother up.
Amongst the shadowy corners of the room, two liquid figures formed into two fairly attractive men. Hanzo's glowing eyes narrowed in on his fellow sorceress, dressing two very young children. He walked toward the three of them and stopped once he was fully visible in light, while Zenith remained in darkness. Awaiting he to notice, he stood darkly, until she turned around, gasping from his sudden appearance. To her surprise he chuckled, his yellow irises glowing brightly.
"Hanzo? What are you. . ." Altaire trailed off as he took a step closer and looked over her shoulder to her beloved twins. "I would have never guessed you and Kye would become so close. I assume it is their second birthday, correct?" He looked back to her to notice her now wary stare. She backed up against the edge of the bed starring behind him, seeing an unfamiliar face emerge from the shadow.
"Happy birthday, heirs of Shadow." Zenith said darkly.
Impatient, Kye stood and walked over to one of the maidens, "Sera, have you seen Altaire anywhere?" eager to know, he was only disappointed when she shook her head, bowing and continuing with her job. He growled lightly, looking around the crowd. Knowing she wasn't here yet, he left the throne room, heading upstairs. Once he got to the hallway, he heard Amaya crying faintly, fumbling mixing in with her. He walked a bit faster to the door, then swung it open. . .
His eyes widened, "Hanzo?!" he yelled in confusion, in response, Zenith, whom was holding the twins, came in the trail of the door, shooting a ball of shadow at him, catching him off guard. For it's speed, it was difficult to even block it, and though he succeeded, he was still blasted through a few walls. Slamming against a solid one, he slid to his feet, jerking forward in a run. He was about to demand the whereabouts of Altaire, though she threw herself in view, being pulled back by his former sorcerer. "Kye!"
"Altaire!!!" He yelled, running faster. He was so confused at what the hell was happening. Why had Hanzo returned so violently, and who's the new guy with him? The one who is about to knock him clear out of the hallway and send him tumbling down the two flights of stairs. Once he did, he heard the footsteps of the two men, the wrestling of Altaire, and Amaya's crying. Kye stood up, and turned around, extremely pissed off, though it didn't much matter, because it seemed he could do nothing! Getting blasted though the throne room doors, falling face first into the floor.
As they entered the room, the crowd of people that were once partying, stopped completely, backing up, hiding behind one another, unsure of what was happening. Kye rose to his hands and knees, his nose bleeding slightly. He growled, wiping it off, unsure of what would happen next. The closest piece of him was being taken hostage, and it seemed as if he could do absolutely nothing!!!

In the midst of so much chaos, Syrus and Selys arrived through the gates of the kingdom, as of yet unaware of what was happening inside. Avalanch followed along behind them this time, instead of being left out of the visit like last time. Though, Syrus stopped suddenly, turning to Selys, "Are you sure I should go with you . . . ? You know what happened last time we came here . . . . Who says Kye will even-""Syrus, relax . . . it'll be fine, you're other side is gone! What could possibly happen?" she took his hand to offer some physical comfort."I just have a bad feeling, Selys . . . maybe-""Maybe you should shut up and stop worrying so much," she interrupted with a laugh. Though as they entered through the doors, Avalanch began growling and the chaos in the throne room became fully apparent."Damn it! I told you something wasn't right!" he growled, pulling IceTalon from it's sheath on instinct, "Stay close-""Those must be the twins!" she gasped, seeing some stranger holding them, the girl crying, and yet another holding Altaire captive as she struggled to free herself and comfort her children. She was so confused, "Syrus, we have to help . . . what- . . . Syrus . . . ?"His gaze was locked on one man in particular. He seemed so familiar, even if his back was to him right at the moment. He took a step forward and caught a glimpse of his face as he turned slightly. Something snapped in his mind then.Han . . zo . . . ? Hanzo!? So many memories flashing before his eyes now, as his mind shifted from one side to the other in a confusing arrangement. No, his other side had not gone, but only lay dormant, gathering strength and waiting for just the right moment to return after weakening himself so much 2 years ago. The switching back and forth faster than he could blink was starting to anger him and he fought to gain control of his body for a moment longer, giving a shout of frustration right before he finally took control.
He found himself with the palm of his hand braced against his forehead. He had a terrible headache after relieving so many memories in only a couple heartbeats, and after being locked away in darkness for 2 years and finally returning to light. He looked down to see his other hand holding IceTalon and looked up again to discover why. Seeing Hanzo again, his eyebrow raised curiously and he pretty much ignored the chaos around him, being one who was used to such things. He took only a moment to survey the proceedings, Altaire, Kye's beautiful lover, was being held captive . . . and it seemed she had whelped his brats as well, though he had no idea there was to be 2 of them. Kye himself was being taken captive as well, which only caused Syrus to laugh. Though he could only guess Hanzo was planning to usurp Kye's throne, he had no idea of the bigger plan his old friend had going.
"Hanzo, old friend!" He confidently strode closer to him, looking around in a showy sort of way, "I admire your work . . . is there anyway I could help . . . ?" he laughed again, looking once more from Kye to his lover and back. Oh, how he'd love to help cause such chaos as this, how he lived for such things. And, of course, he still needed to pay Kye back for his false promise. Although he was a bit confused himself, he didn't really show it, feeling it would be a weakness to do so.(sry if it sucks . . . it was kind of a spur of the moment post . . . . )

Becoming fairly distracted by the loud interruption by a familiar voice, Hanzo verted his gaze from Kye and looked to the man, whose sinister look seemed familiar. And to this mans question, his expression lightened when it clicked. "Syrus, how unexpected to see you so soon. In fact, you're early." he said in an eerie cheerfulness, looking back to the floored man and struggling woman. "I'm sure we have something for you to do," he paused, looking to Zenith, gesturing him to keep the twins in hand, slowly handing Altaire to Syrus as she protested with less enthusiasm than before.
Once he took her, Hanzo watched the grin upon his face widen, laughing down at Kye, who was still regaining himself on hands and knees, then spat a insult at him about Altaire. In unison, he caught humor with Syrus and let go of an airy laugh.
In advance, Kye had been thinking of a way to release Altaire and the twins quick enough to escape with at least their lives. He had actually been waiting a while, during this new coming of that bastards other side. As much as Kye would enjoy ripping off every limb and watch him cry as each one was severed, he knew he couldn't take him on as friend to a new and powerful enemy. Kye had no idea why Hanzo was doing this, but Kye vowed at that moment that he would figure it out somehow, and stop him.
With a swift motion, Kye hopped up in a low, squatting position, swinging his leg across the two pairs of legs in front of him, Altaire's and Syrus'. It swept both of them off their feet, and as the two fell in unison, Syrus was the only one to hit the floor. Flipping over the fallen man, whose renewed expression became pissed off, he landed next to perfectly, Altaire smoothly laying in his arms, though not for long. Letting her gently drop to her feet, she watched a black-hair girl run toward the man with their kids. It had to have been Selys, though why were they here, it was certainly a stunning coincidence.

The look upon Altaire's face became nothing less than horrified as Hanzo handed her off to him, which only succeeded in pleasing him all the more. He laughed, the prospect of finally being able to get back at Kye oh-so satisfying, "Something for me to do indeed, Hanzo . . . ," he responded, eying Altaire hungrily before turning his gaze to Kye, "On the floor at my feet, Kyden? So, you've finally realized where you belong."
He chuckled softly, taking Altiare's chin in one hand and toying with her a bit, one fang barely grazing her neck and making her jerk in surprise, "Oh, and don't worry, old friend . . . I'll keep you're whore safe in my bed." He laughed once more, though it was short lived as he was suddenly on the ground, Altaire no longer in his hold.
Having had enough of feeling dazed and helpless, Selys decided that it Syrus's other side had somehow returned out of no where to help the enemy, she'd better make up for it. While everyone seemed focused on the ass-hole that was Syrus at the moment, she made her way closer to the twins.
On a burst of courage she was sure would do nothing but get herself killed, she was suddenly in front of the guy holding the twins. It must have surprised him because she succeeded in stomping his foot and elbowing him in the stomach hard enough to knock breath out of him. His hold on the twins loosened visibly and she took the opportunity to grab them and make her escape, all the while thinking, What am I doing? I'm gonna get myself killed!
She ran for the hall, Altaire and Kye following her, though form there she had no idea where she was going, "What now?" she asked desperately to no one in particular. This whole day was turning out so completely opposite of what she had originally planned!

Kye swiftly followed the human girl, it was shocking that she actually succeeded in stealing the twins from that man, considering it was the same man who had only moments ago, blasted Kye through walls at a time. Though shaking off that thought of pure vulnerability, he quickly caught up with Selys, and grabbed her waist.
"We must be quick." he said rushed as he jerked to the side, turning an amazingly sharp corner. He glanced beside himself to check if Altaire kept up with him, and it wasn't really to be questioned, because there she was. Again the swiftly turned another corner, practically flying down the stairs and performing a complete 360 turn, gliding toward a door that seemed to remain unused for ages. To remain stealthy in their escape, he gradually brought forth his power as they continued to get closer.
With his one open hand, he took the gentle hand of his lover, tightening his grip on both her and Selys, running straight through the door, completely untouched by it. As they did, they raced down an old flight of crumbling stairs. It was the entrance to the Darkon Catacombs. To avoid getting all of them wet, he surved to the right, slowly stopping to rest.
He sighed, thinking of what the hell just happened, simply happy that all of his family was unharmed. He actually smiled at the thought, he adored his children, and loved Altaire more than his own life, though he thought that it wasnt even close to what his life was worth. He let Selys down so she got get a breath in and took a minute to look down at his two beautiful 2-year-olds before him. Then moved to Altaire, letting her soak into his chest and release a few tears or consern.
". . ."
Hanzo stood silently, a bit annoyed at their escape, though sighed and began to walk to the throne, listening to Syrus' uproar. Before he reached it, a giantic black-scale dragon crashed abuptly infront of him, releasing a feral roar. Hanzo stood without a sign of intimidation, staring up at the dark beast. Sensing his power, the beast then bowed, I, Ziek, shall replace my former master with you, Hanzo, for I sense your power, and demand you the ruler of this Kingdom.
In a small response, Hanzo grinned sinisterly, continuing to the throne and sitting in his rightful place, In Command Of The Shadow Kingdom.

Quickly picking himself up off the floor as Kye and Altaire turned into the hall and disappeared from view, Syrus took a step toward them. He soon realized Hanzo was not going after them, however, and stood looking back and forth between where they had gone and where Hanzo was walking to the throne.
"What-. . . They're getting away! Aren't we going after them? They're-. . . Hanzo-what are-" though Ziek appeared, interrupting his spluttering with a deafening roar. Syrus watched the dragon bow and subside, It seems our friend Kyden has lost one of his pets . . . , he smirked, loving that it was yet another blow to Kye's pride after losing his kingdom.
Speaking of Kye, "Hanzo! Are you just going to let them get away? Why aren't we going after them? You know Kye won't give up his kingdom so easily! As soon as he finds a safe place for his bitch and their brats, he'll try to figure out a way to get it back. Just let me kill them all and we won't have any problems!"
Selys took a moment to catch her breath before glancing about and taking in her surroundings. Unaware that she was even saying it out loud, she murmured, "What the hell is going on . . . ?" Sighing, she looked down at the young children in her arms, causing a small smile to cross her lips.
"Look at you two, you're both so big! And heavy . . . ," she readjusted her hold on them both, her arms growing tired, "But adorable all the same. The last time I saw you two, you were small enough to hold easily enough with one hand."
As Selys spoke, Altaire was wondering much the same thing, "What do we do now, Kye? Where do we go?" she whispered into his chest. She was so confused about all that had just happened, only wanting, somehow, for him to make everything right again. Childish, she knew, but who else did she have to turn to? Kye was always strong enough for both of them, and she needed his strength now.

Considering the fact that Hanzo hand known so much more about Kyden than Syrus would ever know, he was fully aware of what the former Emperor would do. He also knew that it would be a terribly futile attempt, since Hanzo was much to over powering, even for him, not to mention he was in control of the Deadly Seven, and unless they had turned on him, all was going according to his plans.
"Worry not, old friend. You just arrived, why not help yourself to these kingdom walls, which you have waited for so long. Hm?" knowing he had piqued Syrus' interest, he continued shortly, "Relax. All will be taken care of in due time." And to that, Hanzo stood, leaving Syrus to himself and talking a stroll through his new Kingdom. What a gallant trophy... he thought, grinning to himself.
Zenith growled at Hanzo as he left the room with this newly aquainted man, that annoyed him a lot... Who the hell was he to suddenly come in and take over, supposedly kill them himself, declaring he is soo powerful... Well Zenith wasn't impressed at all, infact, he thought this guy should go die in a rotting pit. He wasn't even worth looking at.
Angry enough that he was attacked by a little human girl he could've killed in only a few seconds... This guy had to show off like an idiot on stage. Zenith glared at this "Syrus" character, grummbled, and walked in the opposite direction, where he could be alone...
Kye looked around after he was inquired by both women on what to do now. He had to have some reason as to why he chose to end up here, in the catacombs of all places... He took a minute to look at the young human girl, and couldn't help but admit that he was actually slightly happy to see her after all this time. After all, she had helped Altaire deliver their children all by herself, when it would take about three to five maidens to do that. And she didn't asked for any credit either. Humans could be so confusing at times, their differences between personalities. One could be the sweetest most loving person on the planet, and another could be the coldest bastard that exists...
He shook that though and averted his gaze down the stone path along the water way, until the dark prevented him from seeing any more. "... The way I see it, all we can do now, is get out and find a place where all of you will stay safe..." He smiled as he spoke his conclusions, "I am simply glad you are all unharmed..." He waited until they all started walking, and decided to free the human of carrying Amaya, who stopped crying finally.
He sighed and guided them along the path.

Syrus watched Hanzo leave, thinking upon his suggestion. True, he had waited for a long time for this. Kye had traded him a lie for his betrayal of the Ice Kingdom. There were times he wished he hadn't. He could have killed Gala and taken over the throne by now if he had just stayed put, but he wasn't sure how much longer he could have taken the visits his brother and sister paid and Gala's own annoying presence. Yes, he had learned much from her, gained considerable power, but she was too like his brother at times for him to stomach, though he hadn't thought much of his family or Gala in a long while. Killing the Ice Empress and taking over the Ice Kingdom was no longer an option, however. He'd never be close enough to her to be able to kill her without being blamed, and even if he were, he was no longer the Head Sorcerer and next in line for the throne.
You gave me an empty promise, Kye . . . well . . . who's laughing now? he smirked and turned, making his way from the throne room to have some fun with Kye's lost kingdom. How long it's been since I've fed to my liking . . . perhaps I'll find myself a pretty little maiden to play with. He laughed to himself, finding that he rather liked the idea. Yes . . . a very pretty little maiden . . . she'll have to make up for the loss of Altaire . . . . He growled at the thought of losing such a fine plaything. He would have kept Altaire alive for much longer than any other woman he'd toyed with. Of course, that time would be a torturous hell for her, but that would all be part of his sick, twisted little game. And he does so love games.~~~ Sighing as well, Altaire walked beside Kye, gently wiping the remains of Amaya's tears from her cheeks as she rested her head against her father's shoulder. She felt so helpless, like there was no more she could do than the 2 year old Amaya and Danik right now. Looking to Selys, she decided to further unburden her and also partially to calm the mother's worry within her, she took Danik into her own arms, "Thank you, Selys . . . you were very brave . . . ," she smiled softly, knowing what the young human had risked to save her children, "I owe you twice now."Selys shook her head, "I'm just glad to help. Since Syrus-. . . ," she paused, hugging herself lightly now that her arms were free, "Since Syrus always seems to cause trouble . . . I just, I guess I try to off-set that by being helpful." She continued to gaze straight ahead, saying in a small voice, "I'm so sorry this happened . . . .""Selys, it wasn't your fault . . . ," she once more, thinking that them losing their home was not all she was sorry about. She began to wonder, maybe, if she hadn't taken so long dressing the twins . . . it might have been different somehow. Stroking Danik's cheek and kissing his forehead, she murmured, "I don't understand why Hanzo would do this . . . ."
When she was younger, as a new sorceress, Altaire had respected and admired Hanzo. She had never understood why he had left and never imagined he would do something like this. Looking up at Kye, she wondered what he must be thinking about all that had happened. he didn't deserve this; neither did her children, especially not on their birthday.
Looking back to Selys, she saw the girl was still hugging herself, staring sightlessly ahead, and realized she must be thinking about Syrus. They had all lost something today, but at least Altaire still had her family, the ones she loved. Selys had lost the only person in the world whom she loved and who loved her in return. It made Altaire thankful for what she had, that Kye and their children were all here, safe, though she couldn't help feeling sorry for Selys.

Approaching the castle doors, Lilyx slipped her suave black jacket back over her corset, the back hanging down to her feet. It was almost amazing how simple it was to deceive a few guards and get this far into the Kingdom without being noticed. She slipped a hand around the knob of the door, a mild wave of anger from her past flashing by. She opened the door, whispering to herself.
"Stupid Kye...." She actually remembered her youth, when she always called him that, on a regular basis. He didn't even seem to mind it much, he just let it by like it didn't bother him at all. To be honest, it bothered her that he wasn't bothered, because he usually paid almost no attention to her. She sighed walking in to the great hall, looking up at the ceiling, it's design and the carvings of the wall formation were just like she remembered... It seemed to be so long ago since she had been exiled, even if it could've been longer.
She shook her head, turning to exit the great hall, into a smaller one that led to a few rooms, passing a few maidens that didn't even recognize her, perhaps it had been too long. Turning down another hall, she was too meet up with someone who could help her back into her old home...
As the group walked along the dimly lighted path, Kye began hearing faint noises from ahead. It bothered him, considering he hadn't been down here in so long, though they should just continue on their way out of this dreaded area. As they kept walking, the sounds were more consistent, and they were louder, and Kye stopped, as well as ordering the rest of them to as well.
"Stop...," he said sharply, but quietly. "I don't trust this place... Wait here...." he said, handing Amaya back to Selys, hopefully only for a moment as he checked out what was in front of them.

Having been eying maidens that passed him as he walked casually through the halls, a pair passed that caught his eye and he doubled back to follow them, perhaps to corner one or both. Although, shortly after they turned a corner, a more worthy pursuit presented itself. The woman walking his way didn't seem like a maiden to him, she held herself much differently than a simple maiden should. There was an air about her that seemed to say, 'You know you want me, so give me your best shot.' and that was exactly what Syrus intended to do.
Running his tongue lightly over one fang, he knew this was a woman that could begin to quench his insatiable lust; she was something he had to have. Making a slight detour so he came to stand right before her, he stood with a suggestive smirk on his face. Arrogance had him reaching out and running his fingertips along her cheek, down her neck as he slowly took in the curves of her amazing body, imagining her bare beneath him.
His gaze finally trailing back up to her face, he toyed with her hair a bit, anticipating what was soon to come, whether she agreed or not, "You don't seem like a typical maiden, but . . . ," his gaze once more raked over her body, he was ready to tear the clothes from her and take her there and then, "You'll do nicely . . . ."
Selys stopped as Kye spoke, shaken from her thoughts. She took the girl back from him, blinking back into reality and looking over at Altaire as Kye walked away to check out what lay before them. While they waited, she peered into the shadows surrounding them. Altaire stood close to Selys as Kye walked away, looking down at Amaya and then Danik, then looking back the way they had come and sighing, wishing she could just go to sleep and wake to find this had all been a very bad dream.

Looking at this mysterious, glowing-white-haired man with a look of confidence. She didn't even try, and she tied this man's gaze to her. She didn't have a clue as to what he meant about being a maiden, though she could guess because of his lustful eyes. Of course, she couldn't have any fun without teasing him first. Being sexy has it's quirks, and playing hard to get was the most common...
"Moving a little fast aren't you?" She moved a bit closer, sliding a finger from the tip of his neck off his chin. "I don't even know your name." She paused, scanning his body, impressed with it's detail, what would it hurt to have a little fun? There was even a possibility that he could help her get what she wanted...
She took a small step back, placing a hand smoothly on her half-bare hip. She smiled at him, definitely knowing what he wants, and she wasn't going to protest at all. She was actually fairly interested in him, he seemed like a hot chunk of something she hadn't tried yet, and she couldn't wait, but she was willing to toy with him as well, at least for a while.
Kye advanced slowly, the sound was of breathing, harsh breathing of some fowl being. Though the dark did not reveal his expression, it was one of both annoyance and worry. Now definitely wasn't the time for something like this. Yes, he knew that he once let fiends roam his kingdom to lower the chance of thieves, but there hadn't been many in quite a while... Why now of all times?
He approached with caution, readying himself in case he was attacked by whatever was down there with them... Once he was close enough, he found a sick and weak looking chimera. Raising his eyebrow, he watched it huff, it's gray coat, and shedding hind legs an actual sad sight. It looked as if it was crossed with some sort of hound, and a lizard. Though it was large, it's dog features dominant over it's scales. Kye watched him carefully, walking a bit closer, to try and test getting past him without harm.
Though when that happened, the chimera looked up at Kye ferociously, baring his teeth, and the moment his eyes became a glowing purple, others came from the corners of the shadows. From what he could see when he instantly looked back to the ladies, he saw one crossed between a monkey, and a bird. The other two a feral cat-spider, which was extremely fast, and a fawn-snake. All of them baring their fangs and teeth....
"Altaire! Selys! Move!!!" All but the reptile-hound were surrounding the girls and children. They had to get out! Altaire should be able to defend them at least a little, considering her sword was around her waist, but anyone could understand how hard that would be while holding a child... Kye glanced back at the now standing chimera hound, then grumbled, unsheathing his sword and swinging at him only as a warning. "Altaire!!!" He yelled, the rest of the fiends closing in on the four of them.

This was something he did not expect, that the woman he chose to toy with would toy with him right back. He'd never been toyed with and teased by a woman; he wasn't sure yet if he liked it or not, though for the time being it intrigued him. He notice her look him over, was amused by it and her little comments. As she stepped back and smiled at him, he rubbed his chin thoughtfully where her finger had left his skin.
"If my name's all you need, Princess . . . it's Syrus, and it so happens I enjoy living life fast . . . it's so much more fun that way, don't you agree?" He took a step, closing the small gap she had created between them. His hand came to rest lightly on her waist as his violet gaze teased once more over her body, undressing her in his mind. His other hand son found it's way to her breast, bringing his cocky smirk back to his lips, "And what do I have the pleasure of calling you, then?" It was growing hard for him to hold back from sinking his fangs into her, it had been so long since he had truly fed. The only thing that made him wait was the fact that blood always tasted better with the rush that came only from sex. He would wait until then to taste her.
As Kye shouted at them to move, Altaire looked around to see the chimeras coming toward them, "Damn it . . . Selys, take Danik and stay behind me," she pushed her son into the young girl's free arm and pulled her back, stood before her with Darkness drawn. Nothing would harm her children, or any of them for that matter. They had not gotten away from Hanzo only to get caught up down here. She had felt so helpless, previously, but here was something she could surely handle, especially with Kye's help.
"I'll be damned if I let any of you so much as look at them," she growled under her breath, in her eyes the cold fury classic to a mother protecting her children. She would never let them down.
As the boy, christened Danik, was shoved unceremoniously into her arms, she shifted once more to better hold both their weights. Altaire quickly put herself between them and the beasts prowling ever closer. Knowing that now, she was very much as helpless as the 2 year old twins she held, she did her best just to do as Altaire suggested and stay behind her. Swallowing a lump that had formed in her throat, she held the twins a bit closer, though she was sure it was more to comfort herself than the children, "It'll be okay . . . ," she breathed softly. At her feet, Avalanch stood growling, fur bristling to make him look twice his normal size, though he still wasn't the least bit frightening.

[Sorry, but just because I am extremely annoyed with what's going on in the catacombs, I'm going to skip the entire fight, considering I read it 5 times in a row.... It's dumb, and we are moving on. So I apologize in advance if it's really short.]
Lilyx couldn't help but giggle as he teased her, it had been far too long. She had gone without it for three days maybe? Or was it two. Well it didn't matter much anyway, she was sure she'd get it now, and hell, at least he was hott. Lilyx slowly slid her arms around his neck, hanging there, pressing her sleek body against his muscular one. Her leg rubbed against the inside of his. She leaned up and whispered in his ear. "Lilyx." She kicked the door open quietly, then pulled him into the room, shutting the door behind her...
Kye looked back, watching the chimera's floating away in the now discolored water. Making his way to Altaire, he laid a hand on her shoulder. He then bent down to her level and curled an arm around her waist, holding her gently. She whispered something in his ear, it was faint, but he was almost sure he understood. Altaire was propped up against the stone wall on the dry side of the catacombs. Blood was spattered all over her clothing, and a little on her face. Remaining in a kneeling position, he licked his finger and rubbed it off her cheek.
He glanced over to Selys, panting and holding her stomach, trying to catch her breath, the kids sitting between the two women. " Are you alright, Selys?" he questioned calmly, somehow regretting bringing her along. She didn't look alright, not only did she look tired, more so exhausted, but she looked miserable, probably because of Syrus, and everything happening so fast. It was obvious she wasn't used to anything like this, or even close. Even so, she said she was alright, and Kye nodded in comprehension, giving her a dim, but enlightening smile.
"Maybe we should wait here...", but immediately after he said that, he felt stupid, they had just agreed possibly not even 15 minutes ago that they had to get out of this place, and then he suggested they stay? Staying in a dark lit, damp place with who knew how many dwelling fiends there could be didn't seem smart. "No... we have to go." he said looking down at Altaire, waiting for her to comply, of which she did by simply giving him eye contact. Kye helped her up and took Danik, Selys taking Amaya, and they began walking again.

She was so tempting, teasing him as she was, winding him up to the breaking point. Lilyx..., he thought briefly, as she pulled him into a room, Even her name seems to whisper of sex. He ran his tongue lightly over one fang, slightly curious as to how this would turn out. He had never fucked a woman who willingly offered herself to him, and he was sure she would take from him just as much as he took from her. Well, maybe a little less, after all, he was pretty sure she wasn't going to be feeding from his blood as he planned to do to her. But he knew that could be enjoyable, as well, for both of them; he had just never cared to do it before. Though, now he thought about it, he might like to keep this woman alive, at least for a while. If he enjoyed this experience of mutual pleasure, and she did as well, perhaps she would keep coming back to him, or at least let him come to her. It would be... convenient, not having to find a new woman, satisfying enough for him, every time he wanted a good fuck... which was quite often.
As she closed the door, he pressed himself up against her, trapping her between himself and it. Resting one hand against the door, he trailed the other down her body, his eyes following soon after it, yet again. If he were a normal man, just looking at her would almost be enough of a sexual experience to satisfy him, but it wasn't enough for him. She was something he had to have, had to savor and enjoy for as long as possible. She would be a great test of his will power... it would be hard not to go to far in tasting her and kill her, but he was pretty sure he could do it.
The thoughts going through his head were amazing him; he had never wanted to please a woman before, or worried about killing one, but then... he'd never met a woman like Lilyx either. Even her name was a turn on, and so fitting for her; it went along so well with the amazing body she had. What a wonderful replacement for Altaire... no... to call her a replacement is insulting, she's much better than Altaire.... "I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with you," he murmured as he grazed his fangs lightly along her throat, feeling her blood pulsing just beneath the skin, willing him to sink in and enjoy. Still, he waited, driving himself mad, but knowing it would be worth it in the end. He all but tore the corset she was wearing in half, not caring to wait much longer to start really having fun. His hands immediately went to her breasts, toying with them for a short while, "Such a perfect woman...," he muttered, more to himself. Soon, his hands were sliding down her stomach to her low-riding pants. He couldn't believe how slow he was going with her. With any other woman, he might be half done by now, or at least pretty damn close.~~~ Sitting against the wall was slightly awkward with the three long scratches down her back from one of the chimera's claws, but luckily they weren't too deep. It annoyed her, really, that she had let her guard down enough for the stupid beast to get through, but she was dealing with the pain. The fight had been harder than she had expected it to be and she wondered if she wasn't losing her touch. No, it is only that it has been so peaceful in the Kingdom for these past couple years... I have not had to fight, and have had little time to train now that I have the twins.... She looked over at them shortly to assure herself that they were alright before resting her head back against the wall, closing her eyes briefly against the pain.
She opened them once more to see Kye. "It's over... I was getting tired... how sad," she smiled briefly, really wondering how weak she must have gotten if she could hardly last through a simple fight with beasts. As he rubbed the blood from her face, she smiled once more, greatful for his presence. When he turned and questioned Selys, she looked over at the girl as well, worried about her. Though she said she was fine, Altaire frowned and watched her rest her head on her knees for a short while before Kye said they had to go. Looking up at him, she sighed and grasped his hand as he helped her up, the scratches in her back stinging a bit. She was sure this was the worst, no, second worst, day of her life.
As they began walking once more, Selys offered to help her with her wound after they were out of this place, and she smiled and nodded, "Thank you, Selys." She was pretty sure she could handle it until then. She didn't want to stay here any longer than they had to.Selys only nodded back at her, feeling numbed by everything that was happening. Avalanch, sensing her mood, padded wearily beside her, glancing up at her every now and then and letting out a soft whine. Syrus... it's my fault... it's my..., her eyes blurred with tears suddenly, but she blinked them away, occupying herself by shifting Amaya slightly. Looking at her for a moment, she smiled, "You've got a lot of your father in you, don't you? Same hair, same eyes...." How she loved children, always had. They were so open and innocent, the world to them was new and full of wonder. Sometimes, she dared to wonder about her own children, if she ever had any. Would they look more like her or... their father... maybe, hopefully... Syrus?Altaire gave a small laugh at Selys's words, "I think they both have more of him than me in them... though I think Danik's blue eyes come from me... he's got eyes like my father's...." How long had it been since she had thought about her parents? As far as she knew, they were still living in Darkon, though she couldn't be sure. She glanced at Kye, Danik in his arms, the two most important men in her life, though Danik really couldn't be called a man at the age of two. What will happen now? she wondered, "Kye... where will we go? Do you think Hanzo... Hanzo will be looking for us?" She looked to the ground as she mentioned Hanzo, still couldn't believe he had done this, Why...?

"I have no doubt... Hanzo will be looking for us, Altaire." He answered reluctantly. ". . . ." He was also going to say that he was curious about Syrus... Though with Selys as a presence that wouldn't be a good idea. It was something to think about, what happens if he changes back to his side of innocence? Or what if he never changes back, what will happen to Selys?...
Kye shook it off, and simply kept walking the same way they had been walking for what felt like hours. Ever now and then they had passed the option of turning left or right. Though the had been avoiding traveling longer if they had taken a wrong turn. Even if Kye had been the Emperor for years, he had no reason to come down to the catacombs. Otherwise they probably would've been out of there by now...
The had approached another turning point, a four-way waterway, and there didn't seem to be much luck there either. The girls watched Kye as he paced, trying to think, he grumbled, getting frustrated... --- Shink! Kye suddenly looked up, klink-klank-klank..., on the stone ground of the catacombs was an abnormal weapon... like a miniature arrow and made of some black material... Which wasn't a good sign. --- Shink! It was too dark to find the source, but he wouldn't doubt it was one of.. "Selys! Get Out Of The Way!!" He shoved her out of the way of the one he managed to spot before it hurt someone. It bounced off his armor, luckily missing a vital spot. Though Selys screamed, curling her body over Danik and splashing into the cold, dark and fast-moving water. "Selys!!!"-"Danik!!!" Both Kye and Altaire shouted at the same time, Kye jumping after them, and Altaire running beside them, shouting for them!
Lilyx took Syrus by the collar of his shirt and pulled him over to the foot of the bed. Then pulled him close and basically ripped off his shirt, pressing up against him and breathing on his chest. She could tell from the moment she saw him that this would be wild fun... but she had to keep in mind that she had to get him to cooperate with her afterwords.
She slid her and over his belt buckle, managing to unbuckle and take it off with only one hand. It was obvious she had experience if she could do something like that. Meanwhile, Syrus was having removing her clothes. Once she had nothing left, she reached her arms around his neck and began kissing him, tongue and all, wrapping her legs around his waist, a single one of his arms holding her up.. This will be Very wild.
