::The Barrel Bar Inn has been a hideaway for thieves for many years now, though one wouldn’t guess from looking at it or being a one-time customer. No, the thieves usually stay in a secret back room and go under cover as workers at the Barrel. The leader of this clan of thieves is a young girl by the name of Cat. Cat had first come to this city a few months ago but had already worked her way up in the thieving business, and is known in the public as the Lunar Eclipse. Noone really could guess there’s a hideout in the Bar, in-fact, the owner of the bar is one of the only people out side of thieves that know about the infamous Thieves Hideaway.::

Slamming open the door, Ayenar glanced around for the bar noticing that the majority of the people in the tavern were staring straight at him. He came in and shut the door behind him, heading toward the end bar stool. Taking his sweet old time, he ventured through a few tables, then sat down. He leaned against the bar counter, letting out a calm sigh and resting his arms on the marble counter.
Looking around, he had yet to see anyone at the bar, so he would wait, but he was really in the mood for a drink... He heard the service was really good at this bar, really good. No doubt the best in the Metallic Realm.... which reminded him. "God. What the hell am I doing here..." he grumbled, taking a minute to rub his forehead. He may have the looks of a human, for the most part, but everyone knew what he was. Not that he had a problem with it, he liked being feared... but it was really annoying to have absolutely no competition here....
Soo... he waited for the bartender..

::Cat pushed the door that was behind the bar open with her back as she balanced her tray full of drinks. She imminently noticed a man sitting at the counter and she gave a polite smile.::
“Hey, just give me a sec; I’ll be right with ya”
::She was pretty quick about getting the drinks to the customers, especially for her small size. She finished up near the bar area, poring some kind of liquid into a bowl near a large panther, whom seemed to have been staring at the man ever since he entered::
“Alright, everyone got what they wanted? Good!”
::she said smiling, not waiting for a response from the group of people. She turned around and hoped over the bar, not even bothering to go around. She turned to face the man smiling and added in a friendly tone.::
“Welcome, whadaya need?”

Through all of what just happened, Ayenar couldn't help but stare at her... She didn't seem like a human. . . In fact, he was positive she wasn't. She had ears for hells sake! No doubt there was a tail to go with it. She was a cute little thing, innocent looking, and good at her job.
Ayenar gave her a slick grin and closed his eyes, calmly answering her. "I'll have the strongest drink you've got." He said plainly, looking up at her widely, but politely grinning face. She had nice eyes, sharp and cunning, but completely innocent... I bet that's a deception.... he laughed to himself at the thought, watching her fetch his drink.
As for the panther, that definately wasn't normal for a human tavern... He hadn't thought much of it when he walked in, but that was different. Not to mention, the black cat had been staring at him, hmph, it was a cute little cat... He looked back up to the girl, curious, he spoke to her again, while she worked. "So, does that pretty face have a name?..."

“Commin’ right up”
::She stated happily and started poring drinks into one another, making him her special. A few times she went to the back room, quickly coming back out with something to pour. The panther’s yellow eyes watched around the bar as he drank, but mostly he kept his piercing yellow eyes on the new comer.:: As Cat was pouring his drink she did the costumer-friendly thing and made small talk.::
"I’m Cat; that’s with a ‘C’. This is my first time seeing you at the bar, you new here or somthin’? Where ya from?"

Cat... a fitting name to match her ears.. And, he found the tail when she walked back and forth to fix up his drink. He gave her another light smile, rubbing the back of his head when she asked if he was new here. "Well, you could say that..." he paused long enough to lower his arms back to the bar. "I suppose I got bored in 'demon country'" he said with a twist, giving it a sleazy nickname. "So I came down here... I heard this was a real good bar."
He laughed a little, "I haven't got an argument to that yet." After a smooth line slipping off his tongue, he sighed, scratching an itch on the back of his neck, and fixing his hair. He wasn't exactly the kind for manners, but at least he was trying...
"So what's with the panther over there?" he said, making the conversation a bit more interesting..

::The Panther’s ears perked up when he realized the man was talking about him then he looked away from the man and back down at his bowl. Cat laughed a little putting his drink in front of him.::
That’s my friend, Shade, he’s the bar’s guardian. He’s one hundred percent panther demon.
::She smiled proudly, just because of the face that Shade was her friend. She paused for a second then gave an embarrassed look. Then started to talk like she was nervous::
I’m sorry, I forgot my manners; what’s your name? Or did I already ask you that? I’m kinda forgetful.

"Ayenar..." he said briefly, soon after, taking a swig of whatever the girl gave him. Cat seemed kind of young to be forgetful.. wow. He wondered how annoying that would get after a while, none the less, her resemblance to a kitten would never get old.
"A demon... the you must be one as well.." he thought hard on how happy she looked living here.. it was a bit odd to say the least, and that thought took him to the inquiry if she had even been up in 'demon country'...
"So... if you're a demon, what exactly brought you hear?" he thought to ask... suddenly feeling like an entagonist... But she seemed to be alright with the questions..

::Cat was cleaning up a few dishes when he said she must have been a demon. She stumbled a little and started thinking. She decided to ignore the comment and go to the question, which she also need to think about. She couldn’t exactly tell him she came here to rule the law-breakers, or to steal shiny things, but she felt she could trust him. She decided to not lie, but not tell the truth.::
... ... ... I guess I just wanted a little more excitement in my life.

He laughed a little comfortably. "I guess I can relate then!" he said in an oddly cheerful tone, giving a gesture with his glass and taking another gulp. Whatever it was, it was good, and he had no doubt he would drink more... He was really enjoying himself, and he wanted to stay for a while.
As for the humans, some of them were glaring at Ayenar, though they faced his back, he could feel it, humans were always so predictable, so.. prejudice. It was nauseating. The only thing they were good at was technology and stealing from, possibly even killing or using as bait for a large fiend of some kind... He grunted humorously under his breath at the thought.
He heard the door open, and gently close again, two men coming in one sitting alone at a table, and the other coming to the bar, and taking a seat two stools away. "I'll take a beer." the guy at the table motioned with his hand. "Whiskey." The other one said quickly, giving Ayenar a bold glance.
Once he sat down, he laughed a little "Haven't seen you around, big guy." Ayenar ignored his comment and kept looking straight, taking a drink, and almost finishing it off. "Ooo, too cool to talk to me, huh--" "Listen human, if you want to keep your eyes in your head, i suggest you stop teasing the demon." he said in a low tone, causing the man to shut up almost instantly.

((ok, I'm posting in a different writing style, that one was getting annoying))
“Commin’ right up” Cat said smiling at the new customers. She went to the back room to prepared the men’s’ orders. She came back in just in time to hear Ayenar’s threat. She paused for a second, a little surprised that he was a demon; that would explained why Shade looked so cautious around him. “Oi, Ayenar,” She whispered to him as she was passing him, “try to keep the threats to a minimum; if here’s a fight in here, the owner will be mad.” She smiled warmly at him and headed over to the men who ordered and started setting their drinks in front of them, attempting to spark up a conversation, it was the polite thing to do. Shades eyes was now focused on the men, not liking the look about them.
