He squinted one eye open, and chuckled, "As far as I'm conserned, no." he said returning his own cocky smirk.
He was so glad to see her, after all the blood shed, he found to deserve to see a beautiful face. He then opened both eyes, looking up at her, reaching for her and taking her and, pulling her lightly onto his lap to face him... the slash upon his head fairly visable.. "... Altaire...." he mummbled softly, stroking his backhand down upon her cheek, " You're so beautiful." he said with slightly glowing eyes...
He wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her from leaving too soon, "... You're like an angel..." he added, pressing on her back to pull her closer to him, nuzzling her neck.. ".... I.. missed you..." he said lowly... feeling slight silence after it.

As he pulled her onto his lap the smirk faded once more to a tender smile. She listened as he spoke, telling her how beautiful she was and that he missed her, "Kye . . . ," she murmured, looking away slightly. When she looking back to him, she reached up and lightly touched his face, slowly sliding her hand down to his chest to rest softly there.
He will forever carry a scar for it, I'm sure . . . , she thought, reffering to his wound. She gazed at him for a while in silence, "I missed you, Kye . . . so much," she gave him a light kiss and sighed once more. She never wanted to let him go anywhere without her again, at least for so long. She had no word from him . . . after the first week she had started to worry for him.
"I . . . I was scared, Kye," she whispered, scared she had lost him. She couldn't help but think the worst . . . at least then if she was wrong, which she had been, she wouldn't be letting herself down. If she had only thought the best and it had in fact been the worst . . . .
She closed her eyes tightly at the thought of losing him. It seemed to her they had barely begun to love each other. She couldn't take losing him, losing love again.
"I love you . . . so much . . . ," her gaze returned to him momentarily before averting to his chest, where her hand still lay. She smiled slightly, "I . . . watched the castle, as you asked. Nothing of much signifigance went on without you," her gaze once more returned to his face, "A lot of nothing happened, mainly," she gave him another light kiss.

Kye grunted a few laughs, pressing her body against his, wishing to be so close to her... since they had been distanced for so long... he nuzzled her cheek and leaning his chin upon her shoulder, enduring her beautiful scent..... feeling as if he could easily drownd in her... she was so wonderful......
He slowly moved his hands to caress her back as he finally remplied to her.. "... Ive missed and love you... so much more than anyone could ever imagine....." he began rubbing her back kissing her neck once or twice before sitting up again to look into her peircing eyes...

She tilted her head slightly as he kissed her neck, sighing, so happy he was back . . . . When sat back again and looked into her eyes she couldn't help but look away, thinking of his words with a soft smile to grace her lips.
"Oh, Kye . . . ," she sighed once more, looking back at him. One hand came to lightly rest upon her lower stomach, though she hadn't meant it to, while the other lay carefully upon his chest. She leaned forward slightly, moving both hands back to his chest and taking a deep breath, wondering how he would react . . . .
She smiled again, "Kye . . . I . . . ," her gaze averted involuntarily and she took another deep breath before turning it back to him, "I'm . . . I'm pregnant . . . ," she closed her eyes. She couldn't take the words back now . . . . She had been so excited to tell him, but when the moment came it was nerve-wracking, not knowing what his reaction would be . . . .

Kye's eyes widened from her words, his lack of air causing him to slightly gasp. He was to become a father...? as he took a while think of it... his gaze upon her softened into a warming stare... A father to Altaires child... he was so proud...
He reached a hand first to her face, placing her hair behind her ear and rubbing her cheek with his hand... then let it slid down to her stomach. ".... How long..." he asked slightly choking, his smile brightening like nothing before...

She looked back at him when she felt him placing her hair behind her ear, rubbing her cheek, watched his hand slide down to her stomach and placed one of her own upon it, "How long . . . ? Until it comes . . . ?" she asked softly, even happier now that she knew he was, "Not for a long while . . . ," it hadn't been all that long since he left . . . and that had to have been when it happened . . . .
"About eight months more, I think . . . ," it hadn't even really been a month yet, but it wasn't always exact . . . . Both hands were now resting on the one he had placed upon her stomach. She didn't really know what else to say . . . she almost couldn't believe it now . . . and she couldn't wait for it to come . . . .

He smiled softly, nodding in reply to what she had said... smiling and suddenly picking her up... taking her to the bed and laying her down lightly and laying beside her.. slowly lifting her shirt to uncover her stomach, leaning down to kiss it... looking up to her face and grinning before returning her shirt over her skin and laying beside her.

A soft laugh escaped her as she felt his lips brush her stomach. When he lay down beside her again she turned and nestled closer to him, a smile seemingly permanently set upon her lips.
She buried her face in his chest, as if afraid he might leave her, though she knew he wouldn't. The fact that she was now carrying his child just making her love him all the more, and the fact that he seemed to be as happy about it as she was . . . .
No, maybe not quite so happy . . . for her it was like a second chance to have what she might have had with Reoden . . . with . . . Solos, even . . . , But this time it will be so much better . . . and nothing will go wrong . . . everything will be perfect . . . . She wouldn't let it be anything other than perfect. At least she knew Kye wouldn't take it and run away with it as soon as it was weaned . . . .
She snuggled closer to him, if that was even possible, taking comfort in his prescence. Right now all she wanted was to be in his arms and never leave the solace and protection she felt when she was there.

He grinned as she snuggled into him, and he wrapped his arms lightly around her, rubbing her back, getting a small chill from the pleasure of being with her... and to think, he was going to be a father to the most perfect woman in in the whole kingdom, if not the whole world.. there was no one more perfect then she.
He sighed happily, bowing his head to kiss her head, intaking her beautiful scent...
"... Altaire...... i am..... so happy for.. us...." he paused, then added, "... do you.. trust me...?" he asked in slight concern, he was yet worried for her past... and if she could deal with it, even if she acted so happy... something deep could still be lurking...
He hugged her tightly to his soft chest.. hoping for a good answer... one he would want to hear, though the truth as well.

She smiled as he said he was happy for them, but when he asked if she trusted him, she looked up at him, a slight frown on her face now, "Of course I trust you . . . why . . . don't you think I do?" She nestled into his chest once more, wondering why he wouldn't . . . had she done something?
"Kye . . . I love you . . . I . . . I would follow you to the ends of the earth and back again, and never once would I question you . . . ," she wanted to go on, but instead she closed her eyes tightly and buried her face in his chest. She would trust him with her life, he had proven his love to her, and that's all she needed to trust him like she did.

Kye smiled, "... i was just..." he paused, nervous to say it, though it came through. "... worried about you... from your past...." he said quietly, hugging her as close as possible, though he loosened as he heard a knock at the door. He leaned up, but still held Altaire to his chest. ".. Come in." he said contently, the person responding and entering the room.
A guard came in, a bit shocked at his timing, flinching back an speaking quickly, "Forgive me to interupted. sire. But Syrus is awaiting you in the throne room."
Kye's face lit up slightly, his eyes flairing a bit, before softening down upon Altaire. "If you would attend this with me, my love...?" he offered smiling down at her, getting up and leading the both of them out of their room.
Making their way to the throne room.
