Personality: a very noble woman, she always does what she believes to be right in her heart and rarely ever strays from it or changes her mind. When she does something, she makes sure to follow it through to the end, even if it ends up being a mistake, for she does have that stubborn streak of pride to her. She is afraid of little to nothing, she believes that if it meant to happen, it will, and does not try to change that fact.
History: She is one of two daughters in the Kumo royal bloodline, the youngest. She would not have become empress after her father, Kage's death if her sister had not refused to rule a kingdom left in such chaos and run away. Her mother, Taeru, was very involved in raising her, though her father always seemed too busy for her. Her older sister Taiga made sure to be quite involved in her life as well, at least until she reached the age of about 29. She then up and disappeared, leaving no trace as to where she might have gone. Kaze missed her older sister quite badly for a long time after she disappeared. Even now, she hopes that she'll come back one day, but if she doesn't she at least hopes she's happy and safe wherever she is. When Kaze became empress, after her father died in a battle with the Thunder Kingdom, she vowed to right the wrongs her father had done and worked hard to regain peace with the Kingdom they had been warring with for so long under her father's rule.
Other: a pet Winx she saved from near death after it had been attacked by a flock of crows, she calls it Uyoku. He is about as large as a squirrel
